When using sanitisers and disinfectants, we need to confirm the solution is correct in strength and application to be effective. Does disinfecting fogging work? Read on…

New Look Clean can provide disinfecting fogging in Birmingham, Tamworth, Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield and the whole of The Midlands and UK.

For our deep cleaning and fogging services, we use an antimicrobial cleaning solution tested and certified to destroy bacteria and viruses including the Coronavirus SARS-CoV 2 which causes the illness COVID-19.

We need to ensure the solution is applied at the correct level to know that it will work. The manufacturer gives us the correct dilution rates for this purpose which we follow before applying.

Once the solution has been applied, we can follow it up with a swab test – using the swab will determine if the solution is correct. The swab will change colour to show the PPM – this means the ‘parts per million’ of the solution – this basically means the strength of the sanitiser. We then compare the colour of the swab to a colour chart supplied with the swabs – we can then ensure the colour is correct to the strength of solution we need to be effective – especially against viruses.

This is just one of our safeguards to our customers to ensure we are doing everything we can to keep you safe.

The video below demonstrates a swab test we carried out whilst fogging seating areas in a medical centre in Sutton Coldfield.
