New Look Clean removing Urine Staining from a Carpet.
Today we were cleaning a carpet that had a lot of pet staining.
As you can see from the images below, the carpet had a lot of urine staining. The carpet pile was also very flat and it had completely lost its visual appeal.
We started by using our commercial grade, twin motor vacuum cleaner to remove all the dry soiling including pet hairs. This is an important stage – dry dirt is best removed whilst its dry!
We then applied our detergent free cleaning solution that also contains a sanitising product. This sanitiser is very effective at breaking down biological stains as well as being antiviral and antibacterial. We then gave the carpet some good mechanical agitation – this helps to loosen the soiling from the fibres and also to lift the worn, flat carpet pile.
The carpet was then rinsed/extracted to remove the soiling from the fibres.
You can see from the after image, the carpet colour has been restored, the urine staining is completely gone, the fibres are now sanitised and the carpet now has that ‘just newly fitted’ look once again.
